The H Factor

I started this blog because I was inspired by someone who took it upon themselves to improve the enjoyment of their daily life by taking a simple action and committing to it.  Undoubtedly, this action had a positive impact on the local environment and made other people happier in the process but it’s a certainty that his own happiness has clunked up a notch or more and that he will have felt proud as a result.

A winning combination for Happiness

The point of this blog was to share ways in which we can all improve our lives to enhance our own enjoyment and that will (hopefully) increase the happiness factor of everyone.  It’s easy to get swallowed up by social media feeds and constantly comparing yourself to total strangers that seem to be generally better than you and sometimes life just feels a bit overwhelming with so much to do, so many ambitions and goals set with such high expectations of ourselves and of others.  Where does it all end and how do you stop yourself from sinking beneath the ocean of it all?  This is a massive worry when you think about the exposure our children will have to deal with.  It’s not just photoshopped models in magazines anymore, it’s whole everyday lives made out to be extraordinary.

How will our children cope with their own reality?

Every so often I have been known to come up with a few pearls of wisdom that I have been able to apply to my own life in order to make it more enjoyable and as the point of this blog is to share ways in which we can all improve our lives – even by a tiny amount, I will share this with you.  So when you are feeling like it’s all too much, take the pressure off and remember:

“The only thing I have to do today is to be a good person that I can feel proud of.  Anything else is a bonus.”

Of course, this is not going to make you more stylish on Insta, get your washing done, paperwork filed or fence painted because your mother-in-law is coming and she commented on the state of it when she visited last year, but it may help to put it all in perspective and make it seem a little more bearable.  And if you can achieve something that makes you feel proud of yourself, then you maybe you have found your H Factor.
